Yay Kelsey! One of my college roommates guessed right - go Hens! ;)
The song from last Tuesday was the Garth Brooks classic "Friends in Low Places". Kels, I'll ship out your earrings on Thursday! And put up a picture of them tomorrow....after I get a picture...
And check out the contest for this week!
In other news, my first commission has just been picked up, and the bride seems very happy with the final product. She'd requested 4 bridesmaid necklace & earring sets. Three of the sets are similar, with the fourth being a tad different for the Maid of Honor (my sister Liz). I'd posted about the commission earlier, and am very glad to get this set done. I have to say that this was probably my most challenging project to date. Jen wanted something along the lines of Illusion necklaces with monofilament, which I've never done before! So after some unsuccessful attempts, I finally figured out how to do them and make sure they looked good and were up to my standards. I have to say that the final product did come out very nice! Jen and Liz promised some pictures, and once I have them, I'll share! I do have some pictures I've taken, but haven't yet downloaded them from the camera.
Oh yes! I'm now official! I've registered for and received a tax ID number from the state and so I'll now be able to do some craft fairs and the like. I can't wait! Although I am nervous about that too.
As a result, look for a sale at my Etsy shop within the next week or two!
