This past weekend a very close friend was kind enough to host a trunk show/jewelry party for me. It was my first home party, and so I had no idea how it would work out. I was very nervous, and felt I walked into the show somewhat unprepared. I'm sure I had all the typical questions - what if no-one showed up? What if no-one liked my stuff? What if I went nekkid? Well, not really that last, but you know ;)
Turns out I really shouldn't have wondered at all! In the end, the show went well even though it was a bit sparsely populated. My display looked very nice, I had enough jewelry, and the jewelry pretty much sold itself. I went away with a few sales, one custom order, and interest in two other shows. I'd say that was pretty successful. And my hostess was spectacular, as was expected! Of course, I forgot to take pictures of the event, even though I had brought my camera. Ah well. After all is said and done, I'd like to thank my wonderful hostess Jeanna, and her mother, Gloria, whose house was borrowed for the event!
