The Brimfield Fair

The mother lode of junk/antique fairs is coming up and I'm really excited this year! It's been a while since I've gone with any real interest, but this time around, I just can't wait. I think my interest slacked a little bit because of the kids, but I'm starting to emerge from my self-induced, all consuming kid-obsession, and enjoy being "me" again, which has brought about all sorts of cool stuff that I used to have fun with. Hubby and I have always enjoyed antiquing together, and had a lot of fun going to the Brimfield Fair. And this year, I think that I'll have more fun, what with all the new stuff I'm playing with! I really can't wait to go.

For those who don't know, the Brimfield Fair is billed as the largest outside antiques fair in New England, and it is HUGE! It basically shuts down the main street, Route 20, running through Brimfield, MA, and is filled with over 5000 exhibitors. They hold the shows three different times throughout the year, in May, July and September. You can, almost literally, find anything there. It's just way cool and very fun. For more information, go to

Look for me while you're there! Although I doubt you'll find me, there are so many people there!

Well I'm hoping that they have some antique tribal textiles while I'm there - suzani's, kilims, turkish and persian stuff - not french. I can guarantee they'll have french. LOL! Clock is ticking - I'm still SOOO excited! Thanks for stopping by my blog today and following me! :)
