There's nothing like a good present!

This past week my dear husband presented me with a special present... a new camera!  I have to say I just love it.  It is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC H20, and has all the features I wanted.  My old, good Sony had hit the floor (literally) about a year ago, and I've been using my husband's Cybershot DSC S700, but so wanted a new one of my own.  I found this camera on sale, and Eric, being the che...errr...frugal person he is, searched it out and found it at a comparable price and showed up with it on Thursday.  Thing is, this was after both of us agreed a new vehicle was more important than a new camera, since his was working fine.  It just wasn't working up to my standards!  Picky, picky, I know.  So I had agreed that since I really do need a new vehicle, that we'd wait on a new camera, very reluctantly.  I was extremely surprised and pleased when he gave it to me!  I haven't yet gotten any jewelry pictures taken, I was too busy playing outside with the kids on this gorgeous weekend to even think jewelry, believe it or not!  However, check out some of the pictures I've gotten for the photography assignments for The Artistic Mother Art Group.  I can't wait to start working with them....

...once I get more ink for my printer.  ha.
Big Girl was taking imaginary pictures of me taking pictures of her.

"Run!"  That's all he wants to do right now...

Okay, so this camera has a mode all set and waiting to take pictures of food!  Can you believe it?  This was our afternoon snack one day this weekend.  No editing (other than for size) was done!  Look how cool this is?  It's almost motivating enough for me to want to cook, can you believe it???  (Yeah, really, not so much...I married a chef for a reason!)

My favorite picture of the Boy.  Taken in our backyard.  Edited with some of the Photoshop CS2 Actions created by The Pioneer Woman.  Have you checked out her blog yet?  I love her!
