7000 Bracelets for Hope
Blog Hop

(if you were here before, and I didn't have this post up, thank you so much for coming back to me!  Swimming lessons were fine, and now we're back in the everyday routine, and I have a few minutes to post :)  Have a wonderful Saturday, folks!)

The awesome Lori Anderson has done it once again.  Organized a very cool blog hop, that is!  This time, it is in support of the 7000 Bracelets for Hope campaign.  7000 Bracelets was created by the Global Genes Project as a way of raising awareness for families who are living with rare diseases, especially those families with children.
The Global Genes project has asked for donations of blue bracelets from 7000 jewelry designers, various artists and crafts-folk, and these bracelets will be given to those families who are suffering from things such as Williams Syndrome, Juvenile Dermatomyositis, and Russel-Silver Syndrome (google for more information - I did so, and that's really why I didn't get my post up last night, as planned!  I was surfing for a good three hours before I realized what time it was!).  I'd heard of this campaign from a few other jewelry designers out there, and had been planning on donating a bracelet of my own, but hadn't gotten down to actually doing so.  Then along comes the lovely Lori Anderson and her awesome blog hop, and I jumped at the opportunity to join such a great group of bloggers in supporting this wonderful cause.  Anyway, I've rambled long enough (sorry, I do tend to ramble!), and so here is my bracelet that will be sent out to 7000 Bracelets tomorrow.

Denim Lapis, copper and Czech Glass

I added one of my handmade clasps, and made the bracelet adjustable, as was recommened.
All of the copper links were handmade specifically for this bracelet.

Please don't forget to visit all of the other blog hoppers who are helping this incredible cause!
