A bit of a catch all...

...since I was on vacation last week, I decided to give a quicky "catch all" type of post... And yes, I will likely be wordy and long...please bear with me ;)

First, I need to thank Shannon, of ForMySweetDaughter, for including me in a treasury of hers!  Shannon, my friend, you rock!  Check out all those yummy blues...and say "Hi!" to my other beady friends!  (Hi Patty!  Hi Hope!  Hi Kristi!  And I could go on, but I'll let you go visit their shops yourselves ;)

And here's a closeup of the necklace she included.
Bluebird necklace

I also need to send out a shout out to Gigi, from Veganville.  She featured me on her blog this past Saturday.  What's awesome about this feature is she decided to showcase not just my shop, but in particular my charity items.  You might remember that I'm a supporter of Forever Morgans, which rescues Morgan horses in need.  I try to keep a few items in my Etsy shop designated as 100% donation to FM, in support of their good work.  Thank you, thank you, thank you, Gigi!  You're another rock star!

As it turns out, when I was away, I seemed to hit the mother lode of giveaways!  Yay, free stuff coming my way :)  Here's the eye candy part of the post...

I won some of Lori Anderson's goodies from the Bead & Button show:

Pendant from Green Girl Studios, and Czech glass earring pairs

Don't you just love the yummy colors on these pendants?  I sure do!  And guess what?  Yep, one of them is mine!  I won it from the awesome Kate, over at TropicalBlonde!  I love a good giveaway, and yep, this was a good one!  (but then, aren't they all?)

And then, I heard from two friends that they recognized my name as the winner for a giveaway hosted by one of my favorite vendors!  Yep, that's right, I am the lucky recipient of some beady goodness from none other than the fabulous Magpie Gemstones!  I can't wait to see what Szarka sends me.  Her stuff is right there at the top of my "Covet List"!

So, all in all, while I was enjoying my vacation in the White Mountains, I ended up on the good end of Karma here in blogland!  And as a result, I will likely be doing a pay it forward type of giveaway within the next week or so :)  So do keep track of things here, please!

Oh, and as to what I've been doing for myself?  I managed to complete my ABS Muffin Tin Challenge pieces, and hope to be photographing and blogging like crazy after work today...are you in for this awesome challenge?  I do have to admit that I really enjoyed working this way.  The muffin tins helped me sort out my kinda chaotic way of approaching projects, and having such a quick deadline to work with turned out pretty inspiring too ;)

Oh, and I've also been editing the 600 pictures taken on vacation (yes, 600 pictures over 3 days), playing with the kids, trying to make some sense of the mess of a house, making sure the new kitten doesn't maul the big fierce German Shepherd (well, not really "maul", just terrorize...truth, I speak the truth), doing tons of laundry, weeding the vegetable garden that's gone mad with weeds, and finally today is my first day back at the day job....

That's it!  So do check back here, like I said, I'll be blogging about the ABS Muffin Tin Challenge later today, figuring out a PIF type of giveaway, and trying to get back on my blogging schedule...  Eh, no big deal ;)

Holly- First, thanks so much for the mention. Isn't that Treasury of Shannon's fantastic and full of fun?
Congrats on being such a winner! Looks like you're going to have new "toys" to play with soon. I can't wait to see what you do with them!
Best of luck on getting the muffin photos done. At least you finished the challenge. I'm still frantically wire wrapping!

Lastly, I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one who publishes these random, multi-subject posts. Whew!
