See if you can guess what we did yesterday! My dear husbands choice, but I enjoy it almost as much as he does...
There's really nothing like classic cars, is there? This particular car show is a local show that draws many many people. It's the Klingberg Vintage Motorcar Festival, held in my hometown of New Britain, CT. This is the 19th year it's been put on, and we saw cars from as far away as Wyoming and California on the show grounds. This year, the Grand Marshal was none other than Wayne Carini, with the able assistance of his esteemed father Bob Carini. My husband loves Wayne's show on Discovery HD Theater, and I'll admit that I sit there with him alot of the time when it's on. We had a great time at the show, and hope to go again next year....much to our daughter's dismay. She hasn't caught the classic car bug yet ;)
And I'd also like to give a little word out to my dear husband on this lovely Fathers Day. I'm not the sappy sort, despite being so wordy at times, but this man is what a father should be ;) And I love him all the more for it!
And of course, I can't leave Fathers Day without a big huge thank you and love you to my own father. As our family is struggling with things right this moment, Dad, your strength and perseverance and character has been appreciated more than you know! Thank you dad.
