Bead Table Wednesday

And it's Bead Table Wednesday again!  What have you got on your bead table today?
Here's what I've got on mine!

I've been playing with etching a bit this week.  I need to make more components like bead caps and links and such, and so I wanted to do those with some etched copper, brass and nickle silver.  I don't work much with nickle silver or brass, but do want to try to experiment with them a bit.  I also want to try to make some clasps out of the etched metals, so had to make sure I have enough of that.

I also wanted to tease you a bit with some of the haul I found at one of the local bead stores.  I've been on a bit of a Czech glass kick, and this particular store has a wonderful variety!  What was funny, however, was that the strands that I ended up buying were of the same finish, just in different colors!

I'm really starting to think about fall!
Obvious, with these colors, wouldn't you say?

Loverly blue agate faceted rounds
*really* can't wait to work with beauties!
and I might have to go get more too ;)

I've got big plans for this puppy!
just have to figure out the logistics of the thing ;)
thinking transfers, gel medium...yum!

More yummy ideas in my head for this!

Nummy leather, just waiting for a special project!
And that's about it, what I have on my bead table....what's on yours?

Don't forget to check out the Flickr group too!

And I'm going to leave you with a "just because" picture...just because I can't resist ;)

What you can't see is that she's chasing after the handsof the 3 year old boy who's teasing her. You also can't see the five year old girl who plays dress up with the kitten and puts her in doll baskets.  Kitten gets her back by romping up and down the kids' room and beds at 4:00 am making all sorts of noise and waking everyone up.
Does anyone want a kitten?

Your etched metal is just beautiful! I've been wanting to try etching but I'm a little nervous about the process, and the chemicals. Can I ask what process you use?

Ooh! Etching! I love it! And I am all about buying your fave beads in different colors. That same thinking leads me to have no less than 12 pairs of black pants, 6 black skirts and at least as many pairs of black shoes!
Enjoy the day!

I'm loving what's on your table. I've got a few of those crystals and glass bottles as well. I can't wait to see what you come up with for those! And that kitty. . .at least you have kids to entertain them and give them attention. Ours are crazy like that too but it's all centered on the two of us. Sigh!
