Bead Table Wednesday
Crunch time

Yep, it's crunch time this Bead Table Wednesday!
And what am I working on, you ask?
Well, I'm trying to make sure I have enough for my upcoming show...

Maybe you remember, maybe you don't, but this coming Saturday will find me at the Ridgefield Cultural Festival with none other than the awesomely funny Patty from My Life Under the Bus.

Originally scheduled for October 1st, the show was rescheduled due to inclement weather, and the weekend is finally here!  So, of course, that means that I've finalized my displays, have purchased a tent (and then exchanged it - apparently I don't know my own strength - I broke the durned thing on a set-up test run.  Who knew you could torque the legs like that...), have earring cards, sales slips, business cards....you name it, I've got it.  I think.  We'll find out on Saturday, I guess ;)

copper and brass bracelets - this spiral design is one of my best sellers
It also means that I'm in production mode, and am working frantically to make sure I have enough stuff to bring with me.  And have left over.  You see, I've got three other shows coming up within the next few months.  I'm also thinking about hosting an open house.  Apparently I'm a glutten for punishment...but then, didn't we know that already?  Yup.

gaea ceramic bead and copper wire bracelet
And so what am I working crazily on?  Bracelets.  Because for some reason I've had a run on them lately.  And suddenly I'm frantically thinking I don't have enough bracelets.  Or a wide enough variety.  Bracelets, dude, it's all about the bracelets!

Copper bracelet featuring a stamped and patina'ed focal with turquoise and carnelian
Zoisite, amethyst and copper - this is one of my new favorite color combinations!
The amethyst and zoisite play so nicely off of each other.

Some of Julsbeads lovely lampwork is featured in this bracelet.
That green, oh goodness, it's just screaming my name!
Copper, Swarovski rounds and a handmade clasp finish the bracelet nicely.

Copper tubing and brass wire
this design is from Sharilyn Miller's great book Contemporary Copper Jewelry

So, then, this is what's hanging around on my Bead Table this lovely Wednesday.  And I'm also realizing that I have a bit of a fixation.  On copper (we knew that).  On green (did we know that?).  On blue (*I* knew that - you might not have).  As I look at my stuff hanging around there seems to be an abundance of those.  Hopefully everyone else loves copper and blue and green.   If not, I'm in trouble.  Or Patty's going to get all the sales.  But wait, doesn't she have a blue fixation too?  ;)

And what is on your bead table this lovely fall Wednesday?  Don't forget to check out all the other BTW'ers at Flickr either!

And I'll leave you with what I'm listening to at my Bead Table these days....
Foster the People - alot of it.  It helps the creative energies, I find ;)
