I Heart Macro
Baubles

Since it's Sunday, I am, of course, joining Lori
and everyone who Macros over at her blog...please join us!
(and how come I'm now thinking we need a "Macro" dance?  huh.)

My lovely husband took my jewelry and displays and did a craft fair, can you believe it?  The Gables, where he works, put on a fair as an enticement to try to tempt people in to the facility and check it out.  It's a retirement community in a somewhat affluent town, and Eric felt sure that he'd outstrip my best day.  I was somewhat skeptical (understatement).  But he proved me wrong, and I'll never live it down!  He even took custom orders!   He's now gloating...

This is the bracelet that was just published in the October issue of Bead Trends.
A big hit at the fair, I now have to make a few custom versions!

One of my best selling bracelets, I can't keep it in stock!
A copper bangle with free-trade yarn and a plethora of mixed beads.

My latest experiments - resin.
The base is a commercial earring blank that I've added paper and resin to and then distressed.

Copper and Sari Silk wrapped links connect the resin pieces to the copper earwires.
Yummy Czech glass flowers on copper headpins finish off the earrings.
And, well, that's it....time to go listen to my husband praise his sales skills....
...yet once more.  ;)

Please join all the other Macro folks over at Lori's blog!
I love Sundays, specifically because of I Heart Macro!
