Eye Candy Thursday
and a giveaway

Not much to say today, so I'm thinking it's going to be eye candy Thursday today.
Eye candy of the bauble variety, mind you ;)
Here's some of what I've been working on lately....

This necklace, and the one below, feature copper bezels that were once upon a pair of earrings.  Didn't like the earrings, so deconstructed them, and made necklaces of the bezels!

Do you like sets?  I don't usually make many sets, simply because I don't usually wear matching sets and they don't sell at the shows and fairs I do.  However, when my awesome husband brings my pieces to work, he gets alot of requests for sets, or people ask if I can make a matching pair of earrings to go with the bracelet or necklace.  In that case, I will, of course, work something up for the request!  But, do you usually like matching sets?

There is more that I've been working on lately (a custom order of three pair of earrings, among other things...), but this is all I've gotten photographed at this point!  When you are creating, do you photograph as you go, or do all your photography in a batch session?  In the past I've batched photographed, because I can't leave my photo station out and set up (little four- and six-year old fingers, ya know).  This time, though, I did photo-as-I-go...and I think I liked it!  It made it much easier to take the photos, and editing was so much easier.  So, then, when you photograph, how do you do it?

and have you seen Lori's giveaway?
You can win this...

and this...

so go here
(or not! 'cuz I really really want to win...)
and enter!

Huh, okay, so this was a bit more wordy than I was expecting ;)
Anyway, have a great Thursday!

Very pretty, indeed & I really like how you re-purposed the unloved earrings into two necklaces.

Lovely pieces! I rarely make sets, mainly because I kind of think the concept has gone out of style, and because they have not been popular with my customers.

As for photogaphing my jewelry, I do it all at once since my photography setup is not permanent. I don't want to drag it out and set it up just to photograph one piece, only to put it away, and drag it out again the next day.

Have a great weekend!
